Fendrick & Peck visit Searsmont to perform as part of the Live Outside the Library concert series on Saturday June 8 at 4pm. They are a Minnesota based indie-eco-acoustic duo with well woven lyrics and harmonies, delicate yet driving compositions, and quirky and kind personalities. They have been active in sharing unique concert experiences for the past ten years, blending song, story, poetry, and a love of the natural world.
Fendrick & Peck are Madeline and Brian and their concerts seek to remind us of our commonalities and to help us find the love that others attempt to crush with fear. They hope that all they do fosters connection and cooperation both with the inner self as well as to those around us. For more about the artists: www.fendrickandpeck.com
The concert will be presented in the Searsmont Community Hall unless the weather is perfect (bring camp chairs or blankets). Live Outside the Library is offered free to the public by the Friends of Searsmont Library, the library's Board of Trustees, and a grant from the Onion Foundation.

The time will come when new sprouts peak from the soil, fresh branches, leaves and fruits show new growth, and young flowers begin their unfurling journey. Meanwhile, let us take a breathe, join the slowness of the season, and reflect on connection, compassion, and personal growth with the songs of Fendrick & Peck.
The rove takes us from one Great Lake to another. The whispers of the winds and memories of crackling ice and fire sooth the spirit…along with the music and company of Fendrick & Peck.
The historic Mandt Lodge is not the only thing steeped in the history of Stoughton. Madeline was born just a few blocks from this quirky and beautiful space that will be keeping us warm and comfortable as we muse and wonder along with Fendrick & Peck.
In 1966, Minnesota poet and writer Robert Bly co-founded American Writers Against the Vietnam War and was an opposition leader among writers. His wife Ruth Bly is carrying on the tradition with a new cause at heart—the environment. A talented group of local poets and musicians is inviting everyone to gather at ASI to honor all of creation in spoken word and song.
